Hey Everyone!
It's nice to have the blog up and running again! Hotbed is currently settling in quite nicely to our new location in Columbus, Ohio. Hopefully some of you have been able to keep track of us on our Facebook page!
There's been A LOT happening over the past year! Here are some general updates:
1. Last summer we brought on an intern who we eventually hired as an assistant editor here at Hotbed! Jessica Miera is a 2012 graduate from the Columbus College of Art & Design. You can check out her film blog here: Once Upon An Editor...
2. Valley of the Sun had a screening in Singapore in November and it went very well! The movie is also available at many different places including Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, and iTunes. For more information, visit our store here: Hotbed Store
3. The Hotbed site has been updated with some of our more recent work! Including The C-Suite Program and Moments That Matter brand films for Deloitte and brand films pertaining to Levi's new Denim Bar. You can find them on our site's work page here: Hotbed Work
4. Despite these new updates on the site, there are PLENTY more nearing the finish line of completion! We have videos for the Oslo Freedom Forum, HIPtec, a new music video, and a small piece for the Columbus School for Girls on the way along with several projects for Deloitte including more brand films and ANIMATIONS (and first for us!) coming up as well. So keep an eye out for updates!
5. Next week, we may have a local high school student in to shadow us and our work. We're happy about this opportunity to teach about the business of film. There's nothing more rewarding than helping others live their dreams and explore new horizons.
Hotbed is going strong and we can't wait to share all of our updates with you in the future!
